Project created by Genome Compiler, an application used to explore and test DNA sequences, amino acids, and other biological components; contains project data such as protein combinations, number of parts, and nucleotide count.

To create a GCPROJ file using Genome Compiler, select "New Project" by clicking the document icon with the "+" symbol. Then, select "Export" by clicking the arrow symbol on the icon with two floppy disks. Finally, select "Export as gcproj", name the file, choose the save location, and click Säästä.

To open a GCPROJ file using Genome Compiler, select the icon with the folder and the arrow. Then, navigate to your file and click avoin.
